What is SPKM CERTIFICATION ?

 

This is a national recognition of skills training. 

 

Any one who has undergone competency skills training in accordance with the National Occupational Skills Standards as established by JPK

will be awarded this recognition!

 

JPK, being the Certification Body, has a certification system to grade the awards relevant to the skills attained. With this system in place, JPK can

ensure that Malaysia will become a nation of highly skilled competent workforce that will turn the wheels of industry and propel the country towards

developed status in the very near future.

 

It is also a JPK aspiration that the Malaysian Skills Certification system will be awarded international recognition and our workforce on par with

international standards.

 

 

Why SPKM CERTIFICATION ? 

 

Our nation needs competent skilled workers in every trade and industry. The workforce is the backbone of the country and if they are highly skilled

and competent then the country can move with confidence towards the future.

 

To ensure the quality and competency of the workforce, JPK uses the SPKM as the yardstick. Thus if all workers are SPKM qualified then there

is a guarantee of quality control of skills competency at a national level.  

 

 
APPLY FOR SPKM CERTIFICATION

Who can apply for certification?
1.Anyone who wants to become a competent skilled worker through NOSS based competency training.
2.Anyone who has acquired the skills and is a skilled worker and requires recognition of his skills according to NOSS.
How to apply?
1.One can register as a trainee candidate in any one of the Accredited Centers approved by JPK.
2.One can register with a center that offers assessment facilities for the skilled worker.
3.One can also register directly with JPK if one is a skilled worker.
When to apply
1.This is dependent on the center and the date of the centers intake of trainees.
2.As far as the skilled worker is concerned, he/she can apply to register with JPK at anytime.
